Don't Pity Muslims' Ramadan Fasting

Ramadan is the holiest time in the Islamic calendar which means for Muslims, it’s a highly coveted event, abundant with blessings, community spirit and camaraderie.

"Ramadan isn't easy. But we don't need this sad, pitying, apologetic tone from non-Muslims when talking about fasting. No one has ill intentions ofc, but I promise, most Muslims fast because we enjoy it, even if we don't love abstaining from food/drink, we love submitting to Allah" (from Faima Bakar's twitter feed)

The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Clinton wishes all our

Muslim friends a Joyous Ramadan.
