HOW DOES STRESS EFFECT YOU?

NO TWO PEOPLE WILL REACT TO STRESS IN THE SAME WAY, OR IN EVERY SITUATION, BUT WE CAN BE AFFECTED BY COMMON STRESS IN THESE WAYS:
On your body | On your mood | On your behavior |
Headache | Anxiety | Overeating or undereating |
Muscle tension or pain | Restlessness | Angry outbursts |
Chest pain | Lack of motivation or focus | Drug or alcohol misuse |
Fatigue | Memory problems | Tobacco use |
Change in sex drive | Feeling overwhelmed | Avoiding friends and staying at home |
Stomach upset | Grumpiness or anger | Exercising less often |
Sleep problems | Sadness or depression |
|
Getting sick easier due to a weaker immune system |
|
|
Check off every way that stress has affected you. Were there more checks in one of the areas than the others? Or were you affected equally in all 3 areas? THIS is the first step in dealing with STRESS.
