Today’s Discussion is the first of monthly meetings, following our Service, open to the community, for discussion about action to care for and repair of our planet.
Discussion of this month's topic will explore how (1) improving the lives of WOMEN and GIRLS, and (2) adjusting our RELATIONSHIP to FOOD will play a large part of saving our planet.
These monthly discussions, held on the 4th Sunday of each month, at 11:30 AM, will be held in the lower level of our building at 309-30th Ave. N., Clinton, IA. We will furnish coffee or tea and water, and light snacks. There are no cigarettes or other drugs allowed. We expect that all will be respectful of each other.
Members of this UU Fellowship have long supported those ideas and people who care for our environment. Besides our UU Seventh Principle, this idea is part of our Covenant and our 'Green Sanctuary' status, and in our everyday lives.
We have been looking for ways to encourage others to do get involved. With the Climate Crisis reaching existential levels, it’s most imperative that we ALL do more.
