WOMEN'S HISTORY MONTH

Today, March 1st, Begins National Women's History Month

Since 1987, the United States has formally recognized March as National Women’s History Month. March is designated as the time to honor women for their historical contributions to America.

First locally celebrated in Santa Rosa, California in 1978, the event spread to other communities across the US, then was granted national recognition in 1980.

Think of a woman you admire, then tell her why. Women need our support!
